Water Light Graffiti: Street Art In The Digital Age

Check out this awesome video of artist Antonin Fourneau’s amazing Water Light Graffiti system. Designed in the Digitalarti Artlab in Paris, Fourneau has recently put his spectacular creation on display for all to see in Poitiers, France.

The device uses a giant matrix of LEDs that are buried within a moisture-sensitive panel. When this panel is splashed with water, the lights inside light up to provide eye-catching displays like those seen in the clip.

What is great about the Water Light Graffiti system is that almost anything can be your paintbrush; use a water-pistol, an atomizer, a water bottle or even just soak your hands and work away! You can see the photos here.

This truly is interactive street art in the digital age!
