An unnamed Turkish man was detained in Turkey’s Marmara region after he was accused of raping his father-in-laws ducks.
Police arrested the man and took him into custody after his in-laws filed a complaint. It is alleged that the man was spending the night at his in-laws home and after this stay, the father-in-law claims to have discovered “feathers and blood” in a bed with the duck.
The accused man’s mother-in-law said she discovered his bloody shirt by a tree the following morning.
The poor duck in question, was said to be unable to walk, in severe discomfort and is currently under the care of a veterinarian. It was said to have suffered some damage to its intestines.
The 50-year-old man has denied all allegations of bestiality against the duck and said that the accusations were merely slander.
Unsurprisingly, when the story broke on Twitter there were several memorable reactions, like “Turkish man takes ‘Fuck a Duck’ expression waaaay too literally” and “The dangers of giving relatives a bed for the night.”

Interestingly none of the newspapers that reported the story made any mention of what the alleged duck-molesters wife made of all these allegations. Is she so grossed out that she couldn’t bring herself to talk to the media, or perhaps she has decided to support her husband agreeing with his statement that the accusations were merely slander? Maybe she has gone into hiding because she could face the shame of being married to someone that everyone thinks is a duck rapist?
