Truth In Advertising: Scorned Ex-Wife Advertises House Detailing Husband’s Affair

KPTV – FOX 12

Recently divorced Oregon resident Elle Zober is trying to sell her Beaverton home, however this woman is using a sales pitch with a difference!

Zober and her husband of 10 years recently divorced after it turns out that he was having an affair with a younger woman.

Zober is now a single mother of two and is using the fact that her husband cheated on her with a “22-year-old college student who likes yoga…and other people’s husbands” as a marketing angle for the three-bedroom property.

The for sale sign outside the property reads, “House for sale by scorned, slightly bitter, newly single owner…Husband left us for a 22-year-old… Adulterers need not apply.”

As the sign suggests, Zober is angry and upset however she claims that she didn’t put up the sign as a means of revenge or to try and shame her ex-husband, but because it is “truth in advertising”. She told KPTV that she even got her ex-husband’s approval before putting the intriguing sign in front of the house.

On her website, Zober said: “Sure I’m angry, and every bit as sad as the sign suggests… But I’m also equally grateful for the life I do have and I know that the best the way to more forward for all of us is to focus on that. Hence my quirky marketing For Sale By Owner plan.”
