Ray Villafane’s Carved Pumpkins: The Best Halloween Pumpkins Ever?

As a self-confessed Halloween fanatic, I’ve seen a lot of Halloween pumpkins in my time; some are fantastic, some are great, some are just ok, some are mediocre and others look like they’ve been carved by a really drunk guy with one arm tied behind his back.

But, without a shadow of a doubt, I can hold my hands up and say that the carved pumpkins of Ray Villafane (of Villafane Studios) and Trevor Grove are the best damn Halloween pumpkins that I have ever seen and am probably ever likely to see.

Imagine having Chucky Pumpkin, Predator Pumpkin and Medusa Pumpkin all hanging out together in your front room window scaring the bejesus out of the neighborhood kids…Ah we can but dream!

Grove’s Gizmo the Mogwai is simply amazing and the detail in his facial expression is almost unbelievable. I kinda half expect it to start hoping up and down and making little Mogwai noises. Definitely won’t be feeding this one after midnight. Better safe than sorry and all that.

I challenge you, my loyal Buzz Patrol readers to find a better Halloween Pumpkin than Villafane’s masterpieces and send us the pictures, somehow though I doubt that anything will top these badboys!
