James Mangold, director of the latest X-Men spin-off ‘The Wolverine’ which stars Hugh Jackman as our beloved clawed-one on an adventure in Japan, has tweeted some behind-the-scenes pictures of the set.
With this image, Mangold included the caption “A shot from when we finished work on one of Francois Audouy’s amazing sets. There’s a world through that blast hole.”
Last week, a new photograph of Hugh Jackman as the esoteric warrior Logan was released as anticipation for the movie grows. This dark, brooding photo was uploaded to the film’s Facebook page with the ominous caption “The past is always behind you, but the memories still remain.”
‘The Wolverine’ is scheduled for release in movie theaters on July 26th and also stars Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee. In the movie Wolverine’s adamantium claws will scratch it out against Samurai steel as he is forced to face an enigmatic figure from his past resulting in a battle that changes him forever.
