Watersports enthusiasts and you outdoorsy adventuring types listen up, we have a new gadget that you will just be tripping over yourselves to try out!
Check out the amazing Jetovator – a contraption for water-based madness and mayhem if ever I’ve seen one. Water powered jetpacks have been making waves of late and this Jetovator is bound to cause a stir.
The Jetovator is connected to a long hose (approximately 50 feet) which powers the machine via a water jet outlet on a personal watercraft. The fact that you do not have an engine weighing you down on the Jetovator means that you soar up to 30 ft into the air or dive down to the dizzy depths of approximately 10 ft underwater.
You only need to watch a few seconds of this video to see the potential that the Jetovator has to provide hours of fun and daredevil water-based entertainment. It is a little like being aboard a seafaring, wheel-free sportsbike – but slightly wetter!
If you fancy being the Ironman of the sea and want to purchase one for yourself, then you are going to need approximately $9,000. That will get you the main kit, the hosing and all the adaptors and suchlike, but unfortunately doesn’t include the personal watercraft that you will need to power it.
Those of you that haven’t got thousands of dollars lying around to spend on the latest insane gadget, shouldn’t be too upset, I think the Jetovator has a lot of potential to do well as a rental device, just like the jet ski. Right, I’m off to petition the water-sports operator at my local beach to get one of these badboys!!
