Picture Emerges of Lee Pace as Thranduil in The Hobbit

The book The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Annual 2013 was released today, and in it are many exclusive photos from the upcoming film. One picture in particular hit the Internet today, which is a first look of Lee Pace in his Thranduil costume. Thranduil is the Elvenking who rules over the Wood Elves. He is also father to Legolas (which explains why we’ll definitely be seeing an Orlando Bloom cameo in the new Hobbit films). We now see where Legolas got his flowing golden locks!
