Those of you who thought that chick peas were only useful as the core ingredient of the delightful dip Hummus should reevaluate your opinion, because apparently they also make awesome little caricature heads!!
This collection of chick pea art by designer Sadi Tekin is entitled “Mr. Chickpea & friends” and it is hard not to look at their funny little faces without being highly amused. I really like the little guy that is desperately trying to stop himself from slipping over the edge of a deck – the expression on his chick pea countenance is fabulous!
I’d love to see one of Sadi Tekin’s chick pea dudes battle it out in a fight to the death with one of Steve Casino’s peanut guys in a stop-motion epic…Please, please, somebody make that happen, it would be brilliant!!
