Wave-Gotik-Treffen is an annual world festival for “dark” music and arts in Leipzig, Germany starting from May 25, 2012 and runs through May 28. It features up to 150 bands and artists from various backgrounds (gothic rock, ebm, industrial, noise, darkwave, neofolk, neoclassical, medieval, experimental, gothic metal, deathrock and punk), attracting a regular audience of up to 20,000.

The festival also features several fairs with medieval, gothic and cultural merchandise.
