Remember the Pepsi Ad that went viral earlier this week? In the video professional stock car racing driver Jeff Gordon (in disguise) takes out a Camero for a “test drive” whilst scaring the scaring the bejesus out of the car sales man in the passenger seat.

As you may have noticed some things were a bit off in this video. For one, it seems there would be all sorts of legal issues with Jeff Gordon driving the car, not to mention potentially putting an unsuspecting car sales man’s life in danger. Why “Golden Eagle Snatches Kid” Was Such A Success & Captured The Internet’s Imagination

You may well remember the video called “Golden Eagle Snatches Kid” that first appeared in December of 2012, it was a viral sensation getting nearly 42 million views to date and was featured on all the main internet blog sites and on numerous TV news networks too.

It was of course quickly debunked as a hoax, however there are few that will deny that it was a good one and that it captured the internet’s imagination.

In a recent BuzzFeed article, the four Canadian film students who were responsible for creating it and the lecturer at Centre NAD, (a technology university in Montreal) Robin Tremblay speak about the clip and why it was so damn popular. Continue Reading

Awesome Montage Of The Cutest Animals Doing Really Cute Things

The Humpy Observer has created this 7 minute montage that features some of the world’s most adorable little critters doing their very best to make your heart explode with the cuteness of their antics. Watching this video has easily been the most pleasurable 6.42 seconds of my day so far.

I particularly enjoyed the scene with the cat and the bird who showed the world that feathered ones and felines can actually be friends and the puppy with the independently levitating back end!

This video is just too darn cute, much kudos to the folks at Humpy Observer who put it all together and the critters who flashed their cuteness at the cameras.

Puppies Join In On “Harlem Shake” Fad

So far I have successfully managed to avoid watching any “Harlem Shake” videos that are doing their viral thing at the moment. I had of course seen it lurking in my Facebook and Twitter feeds, but I could smell the ghost of Gangnam Style on it and so made a conscious effort not to watch any of the videos.

Until now, when this video of some adorably little puppies joining on the phenomenon found its way on my list of things to write about today.

Regardless of what you think about the whole fad, whether you love it or loathe it, the clip of these puppies shaking it, is pretty darn cute and a lot less creepy than the video that is purported to be the original!

This short video shows Shirley Brown, 60, from Nova Scotia, Canada, finding out that she is going to become a grandmother for the first time and I think it’s fair to say that she’s a little bit excited about the news!

Brown says that she had always wanted grandchildren, but that her daughters were a little bit slow “getting off the start.”

When Brown’s daughter Jocelyn found out she was pregnant in December, she decided that she would let her family know on Christmas Eve with a cleverly orchestrated surprise. Watch This Young Couple Meet For The First Time After Finding Each Other In Halo 3 Game Lobby

This YouTube clip shows the elation experienced by a young couple when they finally got to meet face-to-face for the first time after an online friendship led to a romance which had been going on several years.

Five years prior to the time that this clip was filmed at the airport, the couple met in Halo 3 game lobby and struck up a friendship. He lived in Tennessee and she lived in Texas, they were separated by over a thousand kilometers (around 800 miles) so for a long time, they communicated via video games, on MySpace (wow I didn’t realize that people still used MySpace!?) and on Facebook. Apparently though, their romantic feelings for one another came about through conversations on Skype!

It was 2 years after they decided to step out of the “friend zone” and start a romantic relationship that they met at the airport for the very first time in March. They have since met a few times more and are now engaged to be married. Continue Reading

Two Kids In A Car Sing Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’

As anyone with children may already know, car rides with kids is an interesting experience to say the least. Sometimes it’s hectic and stressful, but other times it’s just pure brilliance. Kids can be a lot of fun, and when you give them a little push to do something creative, they run with it.

YouTube user ehammer uploaded the above video that he made of his girlfriend’s son and her son’s little friend two weeks ago, and it has already garnered over a million views. After watching it you’ll see why.

The two children are only six-years-old, but apparently are huge fans of the song Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye, and would request it whenever they got in the car. They had joked about making a video, and one day he set up a camera to tape the kids singing in the backseat, much to the excitement of the pair.

The video was filmed over several car rides, and then edited together. The result: pure cuteness.

Queen’s Market Vendor’s ‘One Pound Fish’ Song Becomes Internet Hit [Video]

So of course the first thing that comes to mind after watching this newest viral video sensation is: “How much was that fish again?”

Very, very cheap. It’s a £1 fish.

But seriously, as odd as it may seem at first, it’s completely captivating. Once he starts singing, you really can’t stop watching. Afterwards the song will be stuck in your head for hours. (Trust me, I know.)

The man is Muhammad Shahid Nazir, a vendor at an ‘everything for a pound’ fish stall at the Queen’s Market in East London.

Rather than shouting at passerbys like all the other vendors, Nazir decided he could stand out from the crowd and attract more attention for his products by singing. He wrote the song himself, and within a month he had become a viral hit online. Many customers have posted videos of Nazir singing his £1 fish song, and between those videos his song has already received over a million views on YouTube.

Nazir explained, “I’d been doing the job for just a week before I decided to sing the song which I made up myself. I soon realized it got people’s attention and drew them to the stall to buy fish.”

He’s also been approached by a record label due to his nearly instant hit.Continue Reading
