New Batman: Arkham Orgins Trailer Released

A new trailer  for the video game Batman: Arkham Origins was just released this week. Much like the already released trailer, we get a look into what this game will entail; however, unlike the last one, this time we get the chance to see a fair amount of game play going on. The game play is similar to both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, which this game serves as a prequel to, and some gadgets that disappeared after Asylum will be making a return in this one as well.Continue Reading

New The Wolverine Trailer – With Sneak Peak At The Silver Samurai!

Marvel have released another, slightly longer trailer for The Wolverine, which gives fans a sneak peak at the Silver Samurai, a formidable foe that Logan will do battle with as well as fighting against his own demons.

The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold, is scheduled to hit movie theaters on 26th July 2013 and though this latest trailer features much of the same footage that we’ve already seen, it does include a few new scenes that give us some more clues about the film’s narrative.

Starring Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamoto and Brian Tee, The Wolverine is the latest installment from Marvel’s X-Men Universe and sees one of their most iconic and revered heroes travel to modern day Japan where Adamantium will clash with samurai steel in a battle like no other Logan has faced before.

It’s the Final Countdown: Arrested Development Finally Gets a Trailer

Speech! Speech! Speech! Speech! Speech!

Rejoice and be glad! After receiving our first clip of the new Arrested Development fourth season a couple weeks ago, Netflix has now also released the returning show’s first trailer, giving us a brief glimpse into what the Bluth family has been up to all this time. In the trailer, we get to see all nine Bluth’s again (as well as Kitty, George Sr.’s big breasted, annoying ex-mistress), and though the faces have aged a good seven years since we last saw them, they’re still the characters we’ve come to know and love (and laugh at).Continue Reading

Jack the Giant Slayer and Princess Bride Trailer Mashup

Trailer mashups are an art form of their own making. You’ve got to find two movies where the plots seem to slightly overlap, the characters match up, and it either makes a whole lot of sense or it’s just a hilarious concept. Lance Ford takes the primary path, where he finds films that have a great deal in common and mashes them together. Continue Reading

WTF!?? Tetris The Movie

Youtuber Warialasky just came out with a parody video of the famous game “Tetris.” For sure, if Battleship gets its own movie, then why not Tetris?

Judging by the look of this trailer, this fake movie looks more interesting to me than the real Battleship movie.

The description on Youtube reads:

Official Tetris Teaser Trailer. The invasion is beginning. It is inevitable. You created them, you can destroy them! I did not create Tetris, I was but the messenger. Tell me how to stop them. This is an extinction level event. No, don’t go! Let her go!

If enough people watch this Tetris trailer, Warialasky and his team will make this into a movie.

Battleship Movie Opens In Theaters Tomorrow – May 18th [Video]

The action-packed, special effects heavy, summer blockbuster film Battleship opens in theaters tomorrow, May 18th, across the United States.

For those eager to be amongst the first to see the movie, many theaters are having midnight showings tonight.

Perhaps it’s just me, but I personally think it’s a silly concept for a movie. Transformers was one thing, that line of toys had characters, a TV show, a plot. Battleship is just a board game between two people, and the movie seems to hold no bearing against the game – other than the name and the fact that it’s from Hasbro.

What’s next? Monopoly the movie? Operation the movie? Uno the movie?

But hey, once you get past the completely arbitrary concept, perhaps you can just lose yourself in some action or explosions for a few hours.

Here’s the officially released movie synopsis:

Peter Berg (Hancock) produces and directs Battleship, an epic-scaled action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Inspired by Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancee; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.
