Remember the outrageously awesome Tardis fridge created by artistic couple Joy Alyssa Day and BE Johnson, well now they are offering you the opportunity to turn your fridge into a police box/Tardis too for the very reasonable price of $185.

According to the designers, the skin works best with a French Door refrigerator because they best match the Police Box. It can also be used with a single door or without a separate freezer, but it just won’t open in the same way. Continue Reading

Feed Your Doctor Who Fandom Monster With This Tardis Mini Fridge!

Check out this totally awesome Tardis Mini-Fridge – an absolute must have for any Doctor Who fanatics out there. Those of you who were envious after seeing the super cool Tardis fridge created by glass sculptors Joy Alyssa Day and BJ Johnson and wanted one of your own, might be able to quiet the Doctor Who fandom monster growing inside of you by feeding it this mini replica!

Awesome Tardis Fridge For The Peckish Time-Traveler!

This super cool Tardis fridge was created by glass sculptors Joy Alyssa Day and BJ Johnson for their home in central California.

Using a French-door fridge as their base, the arty duo created an 11th doctor Tardis face for it. They even got the infamous police call box sign, played around with the wording a little and strategically placed it over the ice compartment door!

But this Tardis doesn’t just look insanely like the one from the fifth series of Doctor Who, Johnson, who is also an engineer – used his nifty skills to rig it so that it also makes the Tardis landing sound whenever the doors are opened!

At the moment, the Tardis fridge is a one-of-a-kind, but its creators are thinking of commissioning them for other Doctor Who fans for around $125. More details can be found on BJ Johnson’s Facebook page. Continue Reading
