English graphic designer Storm Thorgerson who was best known for his mind-boggling album art for Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin has passed away at the age of 69. A statement released by his family said that his death was “peaceful and he was surrounded by family and friends.” It did not give many other details, but did say that Thorgerson, who had had a stroke in 2003, had been ill for quite some time.
