It has been announced that Snoop Dogg will be collaborating with Paris Hilton on her second studio album, which is being produced by her boyfriend, Dutch DJ and Producer Afrojack.

Grammy Award winner Afrojack has worked with numerous artists over the years including Beyonce, Ne-Yo, and David Guetta. Paris is hoping that this album will relaunch her faltering pop career.

“I’m doing my new album, and Afrojack is actually executive-producing the entire thing. There are a lot of very cool collaborations on my album. It should be out in the next few months. We just finished doing my single with Lmfao, then I’m recording with Snoop Dogg,” contactmusic. com quoted Hilton as saying.

Socialite Hilton’s first album was released in 2006, it made it into the top 10 in 17 countries and up to number 29 in the UK.

Hilton and Afrojack have both worked with Snoop Dog prior to this new collaboration – Afrojack remixed his singe ‘Sweat’ last year and Hilton did some freestyle rhyming on the rapper’s MTV Show, ‘Dogg After Dark’.

Hilton is also working on a song with LMFAO for the album and is rumoured to be in talks with other artists for more collaboration projects for the album.

It will be interesting to see how the very different fan-bases’ of the Pop Princess and the Gangsta-Rapper will react to the joint project!
