The world’s top seeded tennis player Novak Djokovic beat second seed Rafael Nadal in an epic five-set battle that lasted nearly 6 hours, to retain his Australian Open Title.

Djokovic just edged his close rival Nadal, 5-7 6-4 6-2 6-4 6-7 (5-7) 7-5 to take home his fifth Grand Slam Trophy!

It was the sixth time in a row that Djokovic has come out victorious against Nadal, in what was the longest final in Grand Slam History!

After his hard fought triumph, the elated Serbian ran over to celebrate with his team.

In 2011 Djokovic won the Australian Open, the US Open and Wimbledon. If he wins the French Open in June, he will hold all four Grand Slam titles.
