According to reports from the Canadian press, a group of animal rights activists tried to set up a sting to catch Luka Rocco Magnotta, the man accused of murdering his on-off lover Jun Lin, eating parts of his body and then mailing other parts to Canadian government officials.

The group who wanted to catch Magnotta after they had seen YouTube videos of the amateur porn-star torturing and murdering kittens was Rescue Ink, an interesting group based in Queens, N.Y. whose members are a mixed bunch including police officers, tattooed ‘street guys’ and military personnel! Reports have emerged which confirm that amateur porn-star Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29, who is accused of murdering his lover, dismembering his body, eating parts of it and mailing other parts of it to Canadian politicians, has been arrested at an internet café in Berlin.

The man, who has been dubbed ‘Canadian Psycho’ by the European media, sent shock waves around the world with the brutal nature of his crime. It is alleged that Magnotta murdered his on-off lover Chinese student, Jun Lin, 32, with a pick axe, raped the corpse, ingested some of it and then sent a decomposing foot to the governing Conservative Party office in Ottawa. A hand from the body was also found at a postal depot.

Montreal police found a lot of blood in Magnotta’s apartment, on a mattress, on the floor and inside the refrigerator. A janitor found a torso, absent of limbs or a head concealed in a suitcase in an alleyway behind the building. Continue Reading

The wave of horrendous cannibalistic attacks that have taken place over the last week or so have caused a media frenzy; there was the naked face-eater Rudy Eugene in Miami, then there was student Alexander Kinyua dismembering his roommate and eating his brain and heart in Maryland, and the outbreak of gruesome flesh-gobbling is not just in the U.S – Police in Canada are on the hunt for low-budget porn star Luka Rocco Magnotta. It is alleged that Magnotta murdered a young man with an ice pick and then RAPED and ATE flesh from his dead body, police were alerted to incident after Magnotta allegedly sent some of the body parts to Ottowa in the mail – WTF?!?

Understandably, these terrifying tales have left those of us who aren’t busy trying to chomp down on our fellow man, shocked, appalled and disgusted. Movie fans and sci-fi geeks around the world also have another concern…Does this wave of spine-chilling attacks signal the beginning of that ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ that we have all been fretting about and frantically preparing for?
