Robert Downey Jr aka Tony Stark and Iron Man is rumored to be playing hardball with film execs, campaigning that his Avengers co-stars get a substantial pay rise for the sequel.

In the first movie, Robert Downey Jr was paid a whopping $50 million for his role in the blockbuster, whereas his co-stars were said to have only been paid a measly $200,000 in comparison. The Avengers smashed box office records when it was released in 2012 and went on to become the 3rd highest grossing film of all time. The Iron Man star is said to be campaigning to make sure that his fellow cast get a much better deal this time. Continue Reading

Screen Junkies Honest Trailer For Iron Man 2!

As Iron Man 3 storms the box office and tops film charts all over the world, those satirical folks, the Screen Junkies have succumbed to popular demand and given Iron Man 2 the Honest Trailer treatment.

So just in case you need a little recap of what happened in Iron Man 2 before you go to the cinema to see the third installment of the Stark trilogy, you’ve got their scathing summary of the film referred to as “the forgettable placeholder while they worked on the script for the Avengers.”

Check it out, even if you are a fan of Iron Man 2, the Honest Trailer is (as always) hilariously funny and definitely worth a look-see!

Check out this incredibly awesome fanmade Iron Man suit that was created by 17-year-old Archie Whitehead, from Welwyn Garden City, UK.

Whitehead’s Iron Man suit, is so fantastically realistic that you could almost believe it is a replica from the actual movie. He said he got the idea to create the suit after seeing that someone in the U.S. had created an Iron Man costume using fiberglass. However, at 17, he really couldn’t afford those materials so he went about finding something a little more reasonably priced that he could use to construct Tony Stark’s infamous armor. His answer came in the form of a foam Halo costume that he stumbled upon online and he set about using foam to create this incredible Iron Man costume. Continue Reading

When the zombie apocalypse comes no one will be safe, not even superheroes like Iron Man it seems! This zombied-up Iron Man is the work of Cosplay artist Kyosti Kallio and the fabulously stylish photographs were taken by Adam Jay.

Judging from the damage to the suit it certainly looks like Iron Man had a serious battle with those fiendish brain-eating folk and I reckon he probably took out a fair few thousands of them in the fight!

I guess though if you had to choose somewhere to be during a zombie apocalypse – inside an Iron Man suit would still be one of your best chances of survival.

I had a zombie apocalypse dream last night and those dang zombies were way harder to kill than they are in a lot of the films. I just hope it wasn’t a premonition! Continue Reading
