We’ve always known that Sharpie markers have a multitude of users and thought them to be an epically useful creation, but even so, it is still hard to fathom that the fine, intricate artwork displayed on this guitar was just done just with Sharpies!

Moustache Guitar Get Musical For Movember With This Custom made Moustache Guitar!

It’s Movember and all over the world men from all walks of life, from every profession and all age groups are busily growing silly moustaches for to raise money and awareness for men’s health!

But London-based experimental musical instrument craftsman Tom Fox of Vulpestruments decided to do something a little bit different (perhaps because he already has a cool beard and moustache that he didn’t want to part with at the beginning of the month!)

Fox constructed this extra-special Moustache Guitar and will be auctioning the unique instrument on eBay from the 20th November with a percentage of the sale going to the Movember charity!

This is a custom built Guitar2-D2 electric guitar by some music geek called Doug. According to his Tumblr blog:

The body is custom cut from 2 pieces of poplar. The neck was ordered from a custom place here in SF. Most of the guitar guts were from a used Ibanez I got off of Craigslist. The details of the guitar were hand painted with acrylic paint. The front and back are protected by clear acrylic sheet which I cut and beveled by hand using a Dremel (also found on Craigslist).

Next time somebody asks me what geek rock is, I will show them this.
