This video is of a Guinness World Record breaking dance of mascots. Needless to say, this historic event took place in Japan, where they just love this kind of thing!! Unfortunately, I cannot read or speak Japanese, so I’m assuming the world record that was set was for the largest number of mascots doing a dance. Although watching it, I did wonder if the record was for the lamest dance by mascots or perhaps the most the crappiest theme tune accompanying a mascot dance, but I suppose that’s all a bit too subjective for Guinness’ rigid classification rules!!
Jason David Frank who used to play the role of the white and green Power Ranger in the popular children’s television series has set a new world record.
Frank, 38, managed to break 7 pine boards during a freefall over Rosharon, Texas, smashing the previous Guinness World Record of 5.
The video shows Frank, who is rather appropriately dressed in white, being circled by the other skydivers carrying the pine boards in black. As each one approaches, the experienced martial artist uses his mad skills to break the boards in two whilst he freefalls through the skies! Continue Reading

Last week 28 very flexible ladies managed to squeeze into a 2012 Mini Cooper and break the Guinness World Record for how many people can fit into the tiny vehicle!
The women, from a gym in East Sussex broke their own record of 27 that they set the previous year. 28 people in a mini!!? I’ve been inside a Mini and it doesn’t even seem like you could fit 4 people in one! I think these ladies must have been drinking Alice In Wonderland’s shrink potion to pull off this feat!
The women successfully attempted the record in London on November 15th as part of the Guinness World Records Day – an annual event in its 8th year, which sees thousands of people from all over the world attempt to break as many world records as possible. It was started by the Guinness folks to celebrate the day in 2004 when the book became the world’s best-selling copyright book! Continue Reading

Tokyo-based Japanese designer Kazuhiro Watanabe has broken the Guinness World Record for the world’s tallest Mohawk and he has done it in style – beating the previous record by more than a foot!!
Watanabe’s impressive Mohawk measures an astonishing 3ft, 8.6 inches and it is a wonder that it doesn’t mess with his center of gravity when he’s wandering around the place! It took him 15 years to grow his hair to that length and when it isn’t styled in a Mohawk it reaches down to his knees.
The honor of having the world’s tallest Mohawk had belonged to German Stefan Srocka, his measured 31.5 inches – but Watanabe’s simply dwarfs it! Continue Reading
