Check out this awesome piece of Fanart that features the infamous Darth Vader kitted out in Tron garb and ready to usurp power in the grid! It was featured on CafeMadruga and upon seeing it, Geektyrant’s Eli Reyes began musing over whether Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski might be the man for the Star Wars Episode 7 job!
A lot has been said about who is going to get the prestigious role of directing the new Star Wars film; ardent fans of the saga have their own ideas about who they would like to see in the boss chair with Christopher Nolan, Peter Jackson, Joss Whedon and numerous other names bantered about. Team Coco have also put together some hilarious “audition tapes” from some unlikely directors that are definitely worth a watch. Continue Reading

Deviant Artist Ificial-Art was inspired to create this Doctor Who-inspired image of a Toyota Scion manipulated to resemble the infamous Tardis.
Ificial-Art recently became a fan of the show, after watching season 2 which starred David Tennant as the good doctor, however she opted to go with the logo from the newer seasons for her project because she felt it better suited the vehicles original logo. She chose the typeface Futura (partly because of the name) and tried to make the license plate resemble those found in England because that is where the iconic series was created.
Imagine driving around in this thing, absolutely everyone would give you way – you’d never have to sit in traffic or worry about road rage ever again!
It’s pretty cool, but as time-travelling vehicles go, I still don’t think that it compares aesthetically to the DeLorean – there is just something about the shape, style and design of that particular vehicle that was just perfect for the crazy concept of time travel.

Warning: SPOILER ALERT!!
If you are currently in the middle of watching Game of Thrones or reading the Song of Ice and Fire books then we suggest you don’t look any further as this wonderful little sequence of illustrations features the deaths of the characters in an alphabet primer. So if you are not ready to find out who meets their maker and how then we suggest you leave this page immediately.
If you’ve already completed the book/series then this is something you will definitely enjoy. The illustrations are the work of Deviant Artist Curtana – and they represent all the main character deaths drawn in the style of infamously macabre American illustrator/writer Edward Gorey.
Curtana’s drawings are deviously dark yet delightfully humorous, obviously I can’t be sure, but I think the late great Mr. Gorey would approve!Continue Reading

The Evil Dead was one of the most successful horror movie trilogies ever made, held in high esteem by fans of gruesome movies all around the world. As 2013 release of the new remake draws ever closer, fans of the original films wait with baited breath to see if this new movie will compare to the others.
While we wait, check out this awesome fanart created by Deviant artist Rahzzah entitled “Dead By Dawn” which features the brave and indomitable Ashley J. “Ash” Williams armed to the hilt and ready to annihilate some deadites. I wouldn’t want to meet that chainsaw in a dark alley!
Unfortunately Bruce Campbell who played the irrepressible Ash in the first 3 Evil Dead films won’t be in the new one, but both Campbell and Sam Raimi who directed the trilogy said they were impressed with previews of the remake!
