Let’s be honest: getting in shape is not for everyone. I’m not saying that some people are not capable of getting fit, I’m just saying that some of us are not quite as motivated as others due to an abundance of laziness (myself included). So, how do we find ways around our lack of motivation when it comes to working out when we would rather, say, be watching television or browsing the Internet? Simple. We make a game of it.

The idea of television workout challenges have become increasingly popular this year. These exercise plans offer you opportunities to get up and get fit whenever your favorite character speaks a certain phrase or a redundant plot point has happened yet again. It’s surprisingly fun. Think of it like a drinking game, except instead of feeding your body alcohol you feed it fitness! Wheeeee!

The great thing about these plans and challenges are that you can always make up one of your own, if you feel the need.
