Awesome Transformer Meets Star Trek Fanmade Action Figure

star-trek-transformers-autobot-e
Check out this awesome fanmade action figure – the Autobot E, an awesome Star Trek meets Transformers creation!

The Autobot E was created by artist TJ Wilferd aka Deviant Artist Unicron9 who has a penchant for creating customized action figures. Unicron9 decided to boldly go where the Star Trek had not gone before and take thundering it into the world of Transformers.

Unicron9 said, “The head had to be long because the deflector dish is on the top of it for alt mode, so I went for a majestic alien look with a mix of Geordi’s visor, Vulcan ears, and Andorian antennas….I know it isn’t perfect, but I hope you guys like it.”Continue Reading

Awesome Sand Sculpture Of Minas Tirith Created By Deviant Artist BuckarooJoe

minas_tirith_by_buckaroojoe
Check out this incredibly awesome sand sculpture of Minas Tirith created by Deviant Artist BuckarooJoe. The image is shot in such a way to give the impression that the sculpture is bigger than it actually is, however it’s pretty large anyway – measuring some 10 feet in height and 12 feet in width. Obviously it’s nowhere near the size of the one in LOTR, but for what is essentially a sand castle, it’s pretty damn impressive. Continue Reading

Evil Sith Lord Emperor Palpatine Discovered Lurking In Ultrasound

palpatine-ultrasound
What would you do if the ultrasound that was supposed to be your first beautiful glimpse of your unborn offspring, was instead, the face of pure evil?

This is something that was recently experienced by Deviant Artist Hearte42 when he looked at the crazy ultrasound of his son and saw the evil countenance of Emperor Palpatine staring right back at him!! I’d say he had an awkward conversation with his misses about who the real father was and whether she’d been fooling around with the some of the Empire’s less desirable folk! Continue Reading

Fraggle Rock’s Fraggles Meet The Hobbit’s Dwarves!

euclase
Friends

These illustrations were created by Licia aka Deviant Artist Euclase and are entitled “Courage and Friends”. They feature infamous dwarf leader Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and his gutsy buddy Dwalin (Graham McTavish) from Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”.

Euclase’s illustrations visualize what would have happened if, instead of finding the deadly dragon Smaug lurking in their mountain, the dwarves stumbled upon the loveable, brightly colored, googly-eyed Fraggles of Fraggle Rock!! I think there would have been a lot less eternal suffering, pain and fighting and more eating, drinking and high-pitched squealing! Continue Reading

Aliens Vs Star Wars: Awesome Mashup Fan Art

robert-shane

What would happen if some of space’s most villainous villains met in battle? I’m talking Vader’s Empire going head to head in battle with those gruesome extra-terrestrials from Aliens! Who do you think would win? Would Vader and his Stormtroopers capture those simple aliens who just want to crunch humans, breed and spread their slimy goop everywhere and turn them into slaves of the Empire? Or would the aliens’ power and strength be too much even for a villainous mastermind like the Dark Lord Darth himself?

UK-based Deviant artist Robert Shane envisages what would happen if those slimy aliens crossed intergalactic paths with the Star Wars baddies in this latest mashup trilogy of paintings.

Who do you think would be victorious? Leave a comment and let us know. Continue Reading

Star Wars Fan Art: A Beautifully Burlesque Princess Leia

burlesque_liea_by_jazreet911

Looking at this piece of Star Wars fan art created by Deviant Artist jazreet911, I was reminded of the episode of Friends where Ross confessed to Rachel that one of his main sexual fantasies is Princess Leia in the infamous gold bikini.

Princess Leia has been in her fair share of sexual fantasies over the years, ever since 1977 when she first appeared on our cinema screens in Star Wars: A New Hope. This artwork imagines her in a burlesque style and she comes rocking thigh high boots and some cool Jedi and Sith tattoos.

We think she looks pretty awesome in her sexy burlesque outfit, we’re not sure if daddy Darth will be so pleased about it however!
Jazreet911 has also sexed up Harry Potter’s Hermione Granger in the style of a pin up, all I’ll say is that it’s a good job she didn’t dress like that at Hogwarts otherwise their might have been a few uncontrollable magic wands pinging about the place!

You can see more of Jazreet911’s work on his Deviant Artist page.

Marvel Heroines In Art Nouveau Formal Wear

hanie mohd long gown

The outfits worn by our female Marvel superheroes are slim-fitting, skimpy and often don’t leave much to the imagination. So they would hardly be appropriate wear if one of our heroines had to go undercover, fighting crime at a formal do!

So Fan artist Hanie Mohd has taken their iconic costumes and modded them into long, flowing, formalwear dresses that would not look out of place at one of Bruce Wayne’s swanky bashes. I know, I crossed over, but surely Marvel ladies can go to D.C’s parties too? I also couldn’t think of a better place in the superhero world for these dresses than some of the posh parties that Wayne hosted at his mansion!

This isn’t Mohd’s first foray into modifying the fashion of our crime fighting femmes, the Deviant Artist also created the awesome Superheroines in Sweaters series! Continue Reading

Old Han Solo: Fanmade Action Figure

Old_Han_Solo_04_by_UkkoRunner

Deviant Artist UkkoRunner has created this fantastic fanmade action figure of Star Wars hero Han Solo quite a few years after he was helping the Rebel Alliance to battle the Empire.
This old Han Solo was made using a Hot Toys collectible that was modified to give it an older look.

It is weird to think of the heroes from our favorite movies as getting older, especially when their youthfulness is captured in film for us to forever go back to as a point of reference!

This toy helps us to imagine what Han Solo might look like a few years after his legendary exploits and its reassuring to see that he hasn’t let himself go, much like the actor who portrayed him, Harrison Ford!
