For instance, did you know that the space between your eyebrows is called a glabella? Although the video doesn’t tell you if it’s still called a glabella on people with monobrow, it’s still good to know!

I for one suddenly felt enlightened because I now know there is a name for the disorder I have suffered from my entire life – Dysania. Apparently Dysania is the state of finding it extremely difficult to get out of bed, so now all I need to do is find out if there is a cure. Continue Reading

The Internet – Where All The Best (or craziest) Ideas Are Born

buzzfeed internetideas9 The Internet – Where All The Best (or craziest) Ideas Are Born

Anyone who has an internet connection and spends even a moderate amount of time surfing the wonders that await us just little clicks of the mouse away will back me up on the fact that there is a lot of really funny and innovative stuff out there, just waiting to make us smile.

Well BuzzFeed have gone on a bit of a mission and put together an article ‘The 18 Best Ideas People On The Internet Have Ever Had’ – which lists some of the best brainwaves to strike people while they are casually scouring their brainpans for something to post to their Facebook status that day!

One of the ingenious ideas featured in the article included a laptop built in to a treadmill that will only work if the user is walking on said treadmill. If the user wants to download something, they will have to run and run hard! The person responsible for this particular wacky invention believes that it would certainly help them lose a lot of weight and I’m inclined to see why.
Another hilarious one was the person who managed to wrangle his/her way out of jury duty by prefacing every single answer with ‘according to the prophecy’…LoL

There was also the guy who said he was going to take a photograph of his first born, use age progression software to make him look like an adult, frame the picture and put it up in the house. Once the child started to realize that it was his countenance staring back at him from the photograph, the father then intended to try and make him believe that he was actually a time-traveler! Absolutely brilliant, although I don’t think he’ll be getting any parent of the year awards for that plan!

Whilst I might not go as far as to call them the ‘best’ ideas I have ever seen flitting around on the net, some of them are pretty hilarious – so if you’ve got some time to kill (your boss will just have to wait for that report) it is definitely worth a look-see!

Hit the jump to see 18 best ideas of the internet.Continue Reading
