If you thought the World Russian Egg Roulette Championship is the strangest competition you are likely to hear about for awhile, well think again…Apparently there is a competition where people painstakingly spend hours creating wedding dresses out of toilet paper in a bid to win the Annual Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest.

The rules are very clear, participants have to make their dresses out of Charmin toilet paper and nothing else. Thankfully though they are allowed to use tape, glue and a needle and thread – otherwise the majority of the entrees would end up looking more like a mummification outfit that a dress you’d want to wear on your special day!
The contest, which is in its 8th year, is put on by Cheap-Chic Weddings and sponsored by family favorites Charmin, it was judged at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square Odditorium and more than 700 people entered this year’s competition! Continue Reading
