Don’t worry, this headline is not a spoiler from the latest DC blockbuster to come out of the Hollywood machine, but rather about the events that unfolded at Dragoncon 2012 in Atlanta.
Ruby, dressed as Batman decided to propose to his girlfriend of 11 years and the woman he claims is his one true love, Jennifer (Batgirl) at the convention, but being a shy-guy, he wanted a little help. Cue actor Dean Cain – of New Adventures of Superman 1990s fame, who came to Ruby’s aid and handed him the ring to place on Ruby’s finger.
We assume that Christian Bale was busy that day and anyway, from what we’ve heard, Dean Cain is a much nicer guy.
Ruby went down on one knee in front of hundreds of onlookers at the DC Comics Photo Shoot to make his proposal, so it was rather lucky that Jennifer said yes, otherwise that could have been a little embarrassing.
