Super-Geeky, Working, Giant LEGO NES Controller!

There isn’t a lot that is geekier than a giant NES controller that’s made almost entirely from LEGO – like the one created by Baron Julius von Brunk. Baron’s controller not only looks awesome, but it actually works with his normal sized console and he seems to really enjoy gaming with it, as you can see in the video clip here!

In order to create the giant LEGO controller Baron attached the brick buttons and d-pad to push buttons which are connected to the circuit board of a standard NES controller. Using LEGO Technic pieces he created spring-loaded modules to stop the big LEGO buttons getting stuck on the smaller push buttons.
