Paris Hilton has ended her 10 month romance with Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden.

A source says: “It’s definitely over. ‘Paris thinks the world of Benji, but it wasn’t meant to be. For now it’s over… but there’s still a lot of feeling there.”

An insider said one of the reasons for the split was Benji controlling behavior.

The insider adds, “Paris was fed up with Benji always telling her what to do and bossing her around. She couldn’t take his overbearing ways anymore. It was stressing her out. He can be very aggressive and he was just too much trouble.”

Apparently Benji was asking for a second chance, but Paris was having none of it. They have been fighting and not getting along for awhile.

The source says “They’ve had a lot of fights in the past. She felt she couldn’t cut loose and party. He doesn’t drink and doesn’t think she should either. She felt too fenced in.”
