Richard Hammond a.ka. The Hamster of Top Gear fame is on a role in the money department. For his day job on Top Gear he gets £25,000 an episode, which equates to a few hundred thousand a year. You would think that would be plenty; but it has also been revealed that he was paid £750,000 for a recent Morrison’s commercial.
The commercial was shot over four days, so that’s a staggering £187,500 a day!! It sees in both Spain and Britain to promote Morrison’s meat. A source does say that the flying was faked as insuring Hammond would cost too much due to his horrific 280mph crash which occurred while filming Top Gear last year. I’m sure with all that money he can afford to keep up with Jeremy Clarkson in the car department!!
