Seiko Japan recently unveiled a series of limited edition watches for Star Wars fans with deep pockets that feature some iconic characters from the saga and are pretty damn awesome indeed.
Most of the watches in the series, which include Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Yoda and Stormtrooper models have analog workings, however the Seiko Brightz R2-D2 watch is a little bit different. This rather impressive looking R2-D2 watch is all digital, with a hi-res display and a 300dpi black and white screen which can display famous scenes from the Star Wars Movies.
Whilst R2-D2 might be the best, the other watches in the collection also display elements of their characters. C-3PO is gold-accented, Yoda is green-tinged and the Darth Vader model is embellished with tiny diamonds.
The Seiko Star Wars collection is all limited edition, ranging from between 500 to 1500 pieces dependent on the various models.
The one draw-back about these watches however is the price, ranging from 136,500 to 141,750 yen ($1739 to $1805) they aren’t exactly cheap. Star Wars fans with limited budgets might have to perfect using the force if they really want to get their hands on one!
