We’ve all heard about the wave of horrific zombie attacks that have taken place in recent weeks. From the ‘Causeway Cannibal’ to ‘Canadian Psycho’, Alexander Kinyua the Maryland brain-muncher and several others, these horrific attacks have had ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ survival enthusiasts frantically bolstering up their survival strategies and hurriedly making last minute amendments to their plans.
Anyone who knows anything about trying to survive a zombie apocalypse will be aware of how important it is to have a zombie proof mode of transportation if you plan on not getting your brains ingested while you hunt for supplies, in which case you will find The Walking Dead writer Robert Kirkman’s collaboration project with Hyundai to create a ‘zombie-proof’ vehicle very interesting indeed.

Kirkman and Hyundai have teamed up to create this super-special vehicle to commemorate the 100th issue of the comic. It will be on display at the San Diego Comic Convention at the Hyundai Undead booth! There will be a Hyundai Undead Sweepstake to promote the comic book’s 100th edition and the winner will get a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. Pretty cool prize, but it would be even cooler if you could actually win the ‘zombie-proof’ Hyundai!!
Check out this video of Kirkman talking about the design of the car. He also tells viewers that he doesn’t think he’d do very well in zombie apocalypse because he doesn’t have the survival skills, he said that he would probably end up travelling from group to group saying: “do you need anyone to write comic books for you.” Usually the little clusters of survivors that band together during an apocalypse prefer it when newcomers to their groups; have sick fighting skills, are really good with a AK47, have Machiavellian war strategies, are trained medics or can cook, but you never know, somebody might take pity on him!
