As part of a gruesomely disgusting and totally gross way to promote the release of Resident Evil 6, Capcom have got together with renowned butcher Wesker & Son to host one of the most stomach-churning art installations you are ever likely to see.
Warning: If you are squeamish or eating/just eaten your breakfast/lunch/dinner/light snack we suggest you do not read on or look at these pics. They really will make your digestive system do a backflip!
Wesker & Son, located in East London’s prominent Smithfield Meat Market, have a huge array of human limbs and other dismembered body parts including digits, human heads and even phalluses on sale as part of the Resident Evil Human Butchery installation intended to promote the release of the 6th installment of the popular video game!
They are not actually human body parts of course, just cuts of meat shaped to resemble our bits and pieces. Many of them are edible – gamers with strong stomachs can buy ‘Peppered Human & Lemon Sausages’ and ‘J’avo Caught Human Thigh Steaks’ to name but a few.
The proceeds from the sale of the Resident Evil inspired meat cuts is being donated to the Limbless Association – an organization that supports people who have lost limbs.
As well as this grizzly installation, Resident Evil fans can also attend two days of lectures at St. Bartholomew’s Pathology Museum which are being put on to investigate some of the games themes and their links to the real world.

The installation opened on Saturday 29th September and the game will go general sale on October 2nd.
