Pittsburgh Woman Arrested After Assaulting Boyfriend With A Furby!

Ashley Trimmer, 27, from Pittsburgh was arrested after she assaulted her boyfriend William Ley with a Furby causing a large gash on the right side of his face. She also chucked a PlayStation controller at him, this hitting him on the left side of his face but not doing quite as much damage!

Apparently Trimmer was furious over something that her boyfriend had posted on Facebook, so she grabbed the furry, talkative toy that was hugely popular in the late 90s but recently experienced a bit of a revival, and hurled it straight at her boyfriend’s bonce!
The police were called and found Ley with a bleeding face and red marks and bumps on his head. Police are obligated to make arrests in domestic abuse cases, no matter how minor the injuries are, so Trimmer was charged with simple assault. She was released on a $2,000 bond and a preliminary hearing will take place on Tuesday.

Moon Township police chief Leo McCarthy told a Pittsburgh paper that Trimmer was a “troubled” young woman. He said; “I believe when this goes to a preliminary hearing, this will be resolved and this young woman will be able to put all this behind her.”

I feel sorry for her fella, not only has he got a big gaping wound in his face, but he also has to suffer the embarrassment of telling people who ask about his clearly visible injury that it was done by a Furby of all things!!!
