This is the unforgettable photo of Austrian Felix Baumgartner standing on the edge of space just moment before he made the historic jump back to earth.
The 43 year old daredevil went on to break the record for the highest ever skydive by jumping out of a balloon 128,000ft (24 miles, 39km) above New Mexico earlier today.
