A hypocrite!!!
Pamela Anderson, a hardcore PETA supporter and animal rights activist recently went into Australia’s Big Brother house for a large sum of cash.
It was reported that she got pay around $500k USD.
On Thursday, she spearheaded the protest against KFC mistreatment of chickens at a Gold Coast, Australia KFC.
Pam and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals hand-delivered a letter to Albert Baladi, the managing director of KFC’s parent company in Australia.
She also handed a video to the fast food outlet and called for KFC Australia to adopt KFC Canada’s Animal Welfare Reforms on the treatment of their chickens.
“I’ve been in Australia filming Big Brother House, in which my housemates and I are confined and sealed off from the outside world, much like the chickens who are crammed inside barns for KFC,” the letter reads.
“Fortunately, I won’t be stomped to death, have my legs broken or be scalded to death in a tank of hot water, yet as PETA’s undercover videos have revealed, the chickens raised for KFC’s restaurants in Australia often suffer these abuses.”
“There’s new ways to do things, there’s more humane ways to do things and everyone just needs to get with the times and become more humane.”
Ironically, KFC is a “big sponsor” of Aussie’s Big Brother reality series. They were the one that paid her for her time in the BB house.
Of course, Pam denied knowing KFC was a major sponsor before signing up for the role.
