Our Olympic hero’s have returned home in a British Airways plane with a special golden cone nose. The U.K did fantastic at the Beijing games coming fourth in the overall medals table, with an incredible 19 Gold, 13 Silver and 15 Bronze medals.

Gordon Brown was there to greet the returning hero’s along with a small cheering crowd and the press. With this being the U.K’s successful Olympics in 100 years we can all look forward to an even more successful games in London 2012.

With the rumor mill always going on and on when discussing Lindsay Lohan, she has denied yet another. This time she has denied having had a relationship with internet heiress Courtney Selmel. Courtney has been telling everyone who’ll listen that she was Lindsay’s first Lesbian love but Lindsay was afraid that it would affect her career so the couple split.

However, while Lindsay and new love Sam Ronson were walking around Los Angeles yesterday Lindsay was asked about the relationship between her and Courtney and she replied. “No, that’s not true.”

Fresh from the Olympics American swimmer and eight times Beijing Gold medal winner Michael Phelps was seen partying with West Ham Footballer Anton Ferdinand last night in Mayfair’s Ambassador Casino. The pair left via a back door at 1 am looking as if they had been partying hard. Phelps was in London as part in London’s handover celebrations.

How these two met and ended up partying together is completely beyond me? I can’t think what they have in common!!

Former porn star Jenna Jameson has finally confirmed that she is pregnant.

She tells Usmagazine.com “Yes, I can confirm I’m pregnant. It’s still early, so I’m being cautious. I’m resting as much as possible. I’m so happy!”

Jenna added “I’m just staying super healthy. I’ve moved down to the beach with Tito — I love being by the beach. I think I’m gonna stay unmarried and just go for the babies. I’m following in Angelina’s footsteps!”

Britney Spears will not perform at the MTV VMA 2008 according to the pop tart’s longtime manager Larry Rudolph.

Ryan Seacrest quoted Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph on his KISS-FM show on Monday:

“Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I’m telling you officially and unequivocally”

He then added that “She is in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and was never supposed to perform at that show.”

Apparently Cher is being lined up for the role of Catwoman in the next Batman movie.

The 162 62 year-old singer/actress is reportedly director Christopher Nolan’s first choice for the role in the upcoming sequel to the record-breaking Batman: The Dark Knight.

Christopher Nolan said: “The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s purring creations.”

We thought CatWoman was supposed to be sexy, agile and able to walk without the help of a walking stick…

It has been reported that Girls Aloud are looking to recruit a sixth member through a TV talent show!!

According to the Sunday Mirror the girls will audition thousands of hopefuls as part of an ‘X Factor-style’ series to be screened next year.

All five Girls Aloud members will form the judging panel and pick a girl to join them on stage for a live show.
