Stuntman Gary Connery completes an incredible jump from a helicopter at 2,400 feet over Oxfordshire using a wingsuit but no parachute and land onto a pile of boxes.
In recent years skinny jeans have staked their claim in the fashion world and somehow managed to wrangle their way into pretty much everyone’s wardrobe…Whether you’re an indie fanboy, a hipster, emo girl, tech geek, or a fashionista, most of us will have a pair or two hanging in our cupboards or lying around, inside-out on the floor as the case may be.
So the news that they can actually cause you physical damage is going to bring about quite a few sadfaces I’m sure.
According to ABC’s interview with Dr Karen Boyle from the Greater Baltimore Medical Center – lots of women have been to see her because of the pain that they are experiencing from wearing really tight jeans. Apparently – there is even a medical term to describe the condition that they can cause – although I’m pretty sure that this was about way before skinny jeans waltzed casually into our lives…Continue Reading
New York based artist Jennifer Rubell’s Nutcracker exhibition is likely to get the debate about whether modern art is actually artistic or not going again and will probably get more than a few people talking about sexuality and female empowerment as well!
The Nutcracker exhibition features 18 life-sized, nude female mannequins that are positioned horizontally, held up two metal poles, one going into the upper torso and the other into the leg just above the knee. One leg is slightly elevated and separated from the hip, so that when the leg is pulled down into the space, a nut can be cracked there – hence the name. Continue Reading

This is the brilliant story about a woman named Katy McCaffrey who had her iPhone stolen whilst on a Disney Cruise in April. Fortunately for Katy however, her iPhone’s amazing ‘cloud’ technology sent some photographs taken with the stolen phone straight to her Facebook.
The album went up on Facebook yesterday and is entitled ‘Stolen iPhone Adventures’, since she made the album public, it has received nearly 3,000 shares.
McCaffrey believes that the iPhone was stolen by a Disney Cruise employee named Nelson who appears regularly throughout the album. Though McCaffrey is careful not to directly accuse him of stealing the phone, (it could just be the case that he bought it from the original thief) she has left some hilariously sarcastic and understandably bitter comments underneath all of the pictures taken by Nelson, which suggest that she wholeheartedly believes that he stole the phone.
