Straight from the land of WTF advertising campaigns comes the £2,499 limited edition coat that is made entirely out of male chest hair!

This disgusting monstrosity took designers more than 200 hours to weave together the many strands of hair and it was commissioned by dairy firm Arla to coincide with the launch of their new milk drink Wing-co. Continue Reading

Heineken Introduce Interactive “Ignite” Beer Bottle

light-up-beer-bottles
Heineken have introduced what is being dubbed as the world’s first interactive beer bottle – the Heineken Ignite! The Ignite bottle looks much like a regular beer bottle, but it has an LED inside the plastic base that will light up whenever you cheers someone, dance, take a sip, or in response to the rhythm in loud music.

Judging from the advert, it is clearly targeted at the generation who like the sort of music that is played in clubs and at raves and I can see the novelty factor making it popular amongst the younger drinkers. The 80-year-old dude who always sits at the same chair and drinks his stout out the same tankard occasionally spilling some on the stinky old dog nestled beneath his feat, probably won’t be so enthralled! Rotating Egyptian Statue Baffles Experts At Manchester Museum

moving-egyptian-statue
A 10-inch Egyptian statue of Neb Sanu that dates back to 1800 BC has baffled experts at Manchester Museum after it was noticed that it had started rotating on its own!

The statue was discovered in a mummy’s tomb and has been in the possession of the Manchester Museum for the last 80 years. Recently however, the museum’s resident Egyptologist Campbell Price saw something very strange – the statue had started turning on its own and given that he was the only person with a key to statue’s case, he found this to be very bizarre indeed!! pliunger_japan
Anyone who has had to use the subway during rush hour will be painfully aware that sometimes it can be difficult finding somewhere to grasp onto so that you don’t end up with your face rammed in a stranger’s stinky armpit every time the train comes to a halt.

To counter this problem, one woman has come up with an ingenious (or crazy) way of keeping her balance – by hanging on to a toilet plunger attached to the ceiling!!Continue Reading

Tobias Wüstefeld’s Scenes From Super Mario Adorning Animal Skulls!

mario-level-skulls-1
Just in case you hadn’t had enough WTF for one day, we bring you the fantastically bizarre creations of artist Tobias Wüstefeld.

Wüstefeld created these meticulously detailed scenes from classic Nintendo game Super Mario Bros and for some reason completely unbeknownst to us, placed them on top of some shiny white animal skulls!

The artist created the piece for the We Love 8-Bit art show that was held in Vienna, Austria and I suppose his choice to place his cute little Super Mario characters on some rather macabre animal skulls does give his artwork a strange edge that would set it aside from a lot of the others on display. Bats Singing The Batman Theme Tune!

Because you’ve always wondered what it would sound like, here is the Batman theme tune as sung by some friendly bats (with a little help from a sampler and a keyboard).

As you probably know, bats produce sounds that our human cloth ears can’t pick up so to make this whole utterly random thing possible, those ultrasounds were digitally reduced to audible frequencies and then assigned keys on a keyboard. Using this keyboard, Ulrich Seidel then played the 1966 Batman theme tune. The interesting footage assigned to our singing bats was put together by Sándor Seuntjens using clips from the 1966 Batman film and the animated television series with National Geographic providing the actual bat footage!

Cat Fighter – Brilliant Street Fighter Parody Featuring Menacing Kitten Warriors!

Cat loving Street Fighter fans will really enjoy this highly entertaining parody of the classic video game that features some double-bastard-hard kittens in a battle to the death!

Created by The Pet Collective, Cat Fighter is described as kittens hashing it out in “some retro SNES fashion” with Ken and Ryu’s legendary rivalry re-imagined on feline level! Now it’s all about who stole the ball of yarn and pilfered the last of the catnip!

I found the short highly entertaining, but feel it is my duty to deliver a word of warning to those of you planning on watching it with your pets – I watched it with my kitten and then she went all Blanka on my ass! So cover their little furry faces if you don’t want them to pick up any violent tendencies!
