The groundbreaking documentary “Breaking The Taboo” is about the many failures of the 40-year long War on Drugs. While it is no secret that the billion dollar war has hardly been a success, this documentary looks in great detail at the devastating impact that many of the policies have had on countries and the thousands of lives that have been lost as a result. It is narrated by Morgan Freeman and features interviews with leading figures like former U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter.
The film follows the Global Commission on Drug Policy on their mission to break the political taboo and expose what many believe to be the “biggest failure of global policy in the last 50 years.”
The film will go on general release on the 7th December, but until then, here is a trailer.
