Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed their first baby into the family.

Brazilian Camilla Alves gave birth to a baby boy on Monday evening at 6.22 pm.

The name of the baby boy has not been released yet, but he is said to have weighing in at 7 lb., 4 oz.

“A healthy baby boy was born,” Matthew, 38, tells said in a statement. “Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world — Having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together.”
