J-Lo and LaChapelle Do It
J-Lo and David LaChapelle have joined forces to make a really __________ video for her new track “Do It Well.” While I can’t quite think of the right adjective to fill in there, I did learn a few important things from the video. To wit:
I’ve seen drag queens do a better, and possibly more feminine Jennifer Lopez than Jennifer Lopez does herself in this video.
Fat people like to dance.
Men should be slapped.
Really fat people like to be fed cake.
Mice are into S&M.
Children shouldn’t have to wash dishes.
And that, you guys, is about all the sense I made out of this mess. Watch it for yourselves, and see if you can come up with the right word to fill in the blank above. Leave your suggestions as comments!
And then, if you’re not exhausted from the sheer horror of that display, take some time and laugh at this old-school lampooning of David LaChapelle’s directing style from the days when Saturday Night Live used to be funny.
