Amy Winehouse has been a bad, bad girl.  And it sounds like Daddy is trying to tighten the reigns.

First he pleads with the public not to buy Amy’s cds so her cash supply for heroin will be cut off.  And now, he’s trying to take legal action to prevent her husband/needle-buddy Blake from getting his hands on her assets.

Oh Mr. Winehouse, don’t you know that if you tell the kids “No,” it just makes them want to do heroin even more?  I think there was even an episode of Leave It To Beaver about this very thing.

Mitch (Amy’s dad….we’re on a first-name basis) is quoted as saying,

It makes me sick, he’s the reason she’ll die. I’m not going to see him get everything that she worked so hard for.

Two things, Mitch.  One, I don’t really consider shooting up and wearing too much eye make-up to be hard work.  Having two jobs and raising a family of four is hard work.  Your daughter makes semi-decent music, throws fits when she doesn’t win awards, and vomits on-stage.  It doesn’t exactly qualify her for Norma Rae status. 

And then two, Blake isn’t the reason she’ll die.  SHE is the reason she’ll die.  Well, she…and heroin…and lack of food…and possible overexposure to the chemicals in cheap make-up…
