Egyptians eat your hearts out, you’ve just been out maneuvered in the mummification battle. In what is possibly the weirdest, creepiest and grossest things I have ever seen on eBay, a seller put a mummified cat slam-dunking a mummified bird through a basketball hoop on sale!!
The seller wanted $550 for the ‘mummified cat slam dunking a mummified bird’ and it seems as though there was someone out there willing to pay for it, because now when you search for the oddball item it is no longer there.
Sad times for anyone who wanted this gorgeous feline to put in the window and terrorize the neighborhood children. Yeah, that would have stopped them playing in your garden and messing up your lawn for sure and get you a reputation for being the town’s local crazy person that may or may not be the leader of a cult that likes to pickle people and put them in pumpkin pies at Halloween!
There is some good news for collectors of mummified pets, there is loads of other mummification memorabilia available for sale on the site including an alligator head (what every mantelpiece needs) and an adorable little mummified chick in an ornamental glass container!
