Lionsgate is suing about 15 companies, including online baby clothing vendors, for making t-shirts and other products emblazoned with the tagline “Nobody puts Baby in a corner” from the 1987 hit movie Dirty Dancing. That’s all fine and well and within their legal rights, but didn’t the execs at Lionsgate learn anything from the film — that the little guy will always triumph over adversity and dance his way to the top? And that there is really nothing that a well-timed samba can’t fix?

I guess I had better put my own t-shirt line that has “I carried the watermelon” on hold until this all blows over.
