Well, we aren’t really sure of that, but it’s pretty likely. For those of you that haven’t already seen it, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hit theaters last Thursday. It’s come out with mixed releases, but who’s to say you should listen to those dumbass critics, anyways. Make your own judgment of it. Anyways, I’m not here to talk about Indy 4, but rather up-and-coming plans from Mr. George Lucas himself for the sequel to this Indiana Jones 4.

Shia Labeouf Takes HarrisonFord for a Ride in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

In the Crystal Skull, Shia Labeouf takes a role alongside Harrison Ford slaying some soviets and running through some puzzles in true, classic Indiana Jones style. On top of that, he is of course, related to the Jones line of blood. Now, remember how Sean Connery appeared in the later films as Indiana’s father. You see where I am going with this?

Harrison and Shia with Flashlights... Ooo

George doesn’t want to throw Harrison out completely, but just pass his role onto a younger actor like Shia. It’s a smart move. There was just something about Indy in this film that wasn’t the same as it was 18 years ago. I think it’s the fact that Mr. Ford is turning into an “old-fart.” He’s 65 years old now, and I just don’t think he can keep the pace up in many more action sequences.

On top of this, those girls love Shia Labeouf. Critics praise his acting and the way he takes on new characters. I think this could be one step in the right direction to revolutionize the Iniana Jones franchise.
