Bueller? Bueller?

Dear God,
Please don’t let them make Ferris Bueller 2: Another Day Off.

Global warming? A third term for Bush? More Dane Cook movies? These are all things I can live with. But bastardizing a cherished childhood movie like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off? I just don’t think I could stand it.
So please, God, if you’re listening, please do something about this. Soon.
Love,
Shane
PS:Â If you could do something about Mary Kate Olsen’s make-up, that would be great, too, but please don’t think I’m being greedy!

Sequel Mania sure has made a mess of some great movies. The legacy of Ferris should be preserved. SAVE FERRIS!
Seeing Him in the role of a 40 something will destroy the greatness of Ferris as a carefree teen.

a bueller sequel would totally kill all my nostalgia for the original.
Whatever happened to original thought in Hollywood? Why remake old movies that were great to begin with? Why have a dozen sequels? Friday the 13th, part 13 anyone? And WHY make a series of movies about comic book heroes? If you must make a super hero comic book movie, make one and make it good enough to stir our memories. On a similar note, I did see Underdog at the Rave and really enjoyed it… but I don’t want Underdog 2 or Underdog 3, etc., etc., ad nauseum.
