Swedish women fight for the freedom of their Breasts!
Swedish Newspaper Metro reports that Swedish women have launched a campaign called ‘Just Breasts’ which fights for their right to go topless on beaches and in swimming pools. Scandinavian feminists were outraged when two women were asked to cover up their breasts by a lifeguard at a public pool near Stockholm.
One of the women, 22-year-old Ragnhild Karlsson, says that: ‘If women are forced to wear a top, shouldn’t men also have to?’ As a result, women in southern Sweden set up the ‘Bara Brost’ network, which translates as ‘Just Breasts’.
A spokeswoman for the group said: ‘We want our breasts to be as normal and desexualised as men’s, so that we too can pull off our shirts at football matches.’ So far, the campaign’s strategy has been devastatingly effective. Members of Just Breasts have been jumping into swimming pools across the country wearing nothing more than bikini bottoms.
This tactical masterstroke has caused an upheaval in Swedish law - the country’s equal opportunities ombudsman will decide whether or not to take up the case later this month.

ok,,, the natural re-action if one o those women found herself topless suddenly in a public site is to hide her breasts,,, nature is the mother and the one can say if to allow them to discover thier chests or not,,, they may work on more important issues like environment, role of women in sustainable development and soci-economic aspects,,, many issues are in need for women to be discussed and covered,,,
best wishes
i think women should be treated fairly. i think they should be able to do what they want with thier own bodys. men go toppless at the beach or go jogging or just go anywhere with no shirt on. women just want to be treated 50-50. not 60-40. this is the land of the free,is it not ? who is to tell us what and what we can not do. women have come a long way. we got women firemen, women policeman, women dr.s and so on. so let women just be free. thank you.
