Janet Jackson was rushed to the hospital last night after falling victim to a mystery illness shortly before a gig in Montreal, Canada.

Janet condition worsened during her sound check, and she was whisked off to hospital just prior to show time. Janet’s already rescheduling the show so it can’t be too serious.

Though details of her illness remain a mystery, we thought it might have something to do with what Page Six was reported earlier:

The other night, Dupri and his squeeze, Janet Jackson, went to Tenjune, where, spies say, they shared bottles of Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T - until Dupri “vomited in Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach.” A rep for Jackson and Dupri didn’t return calls.

A friend of Jermaine Dupri, says, “A 42-year-old body can’t handle what a 22-year-old body can. I can tell you that she’s definitely tired. It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn’t the same as it used to be.”
