Glasto ticket scheme for 2009
on : 29-08-08 Posted by : AbiVaughan
With the festival season drawing to a close it’s now time to look to next year. There have been grumbles over Glastonbury ticket prices in recent years, and some argue that this contributed to 2008’s festival not being an immediate sell out.
To try and overcome this problem Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has come up with a solution. Fans can purchase tickets up to six months earlier than usual for the June festival. Tickets will go on sale on October 5th at 9am; punters can purchase tickets by leaving a £50 deposit, with the rest of the balance being paid by February 1st 2009.
Registration for tickets opens on September 1st. I don’t know about you but I’ll be the first in the queue!.
