Cher Catwoman role, but why?

We hope that is is not true…
Apparently Cher is being lined up for the role of Catwoman in the next Batman movie.
The 162 62 year-old singer/actress is reportedly director Christopher Nolan’s first choice for the role in the upcoming sequel to the record-breaking Batman: The Dark Knight.
Christopher Nolan said: “The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s purring creations.”
We thought CatWoman was supposed to be sexy, agile and able to walk without the help of a walking stick…
The main cast will also include Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.

Cher is hollywood royalty and they would be lucky to have her lend her BRILLIANCE to this otherwise fairly boring enterprise. OSCAR WINNING GODDESS!!! Anyone who has seen her latest Vegas spectacular knows she is FAR from a walking stick and has a better body/voice than any of todays wanna be “divas”
