Minnesota Casino Breaks World Record With Monster One-Ton Cheeseburger

biggest burger Minnesota Casino Breaks World Record With Monster One Ton Cheeseburger

The Black Bear Casino Resort, near Carlton in Minnesota broke the world-record for the biggest burger on Sunday, when they cooked up this mammoth bacon cheeseburger.

It looks like a quadruple bypass on a plate and then some! I think the Heart Attack Grill would be proud to call this creation their own but I doubt very much that it would fit into their restaurant and it certainly wouldn’t sit on a standard plate, measuring 10 feet in diameter and weighing over a ton, tipping the scales at 2014 pounds!

The record was verified by Guinness Records representative Philip Robertson who said that some “remarkable teamwork” was responsible for this achievement! Robertson also got to try the huge burger and said it “actually tastes really good.”

The team working on the colossal cheeseburger actually had to use a crane to lift the patty in order to flip it and it took 4 hours to cook all the way through.

Other ingredients included 60 pounds of bacon, 40 pounds of cheese, 50 pounds of lettuce, 50 pounds of sliced onion and 40 pounds of pickles. I wonder how much ketchup they needed and if they had fries with that?
